PARTNERS Family Services is hiring a dedicated full time Family Support Worker. Responsibilities include working directly with families in their homes in the areas of parenting, child development, life skills, etc to reduce risk of harm to children and assist with stabilizing the family unit. The successful candidate must be willing to travel throughout the Humboldt area. Hours are 32.5 hours per week, primarily Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm, but flexibility is required.
This position is to begin as soon as possible.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of recent experience working with children, youth or families
- Diploma OR degree in Child and Youth Care, OR Early Childhood Education OR Social Work OR psychology is required
- Valid First Aid/CPR at time of hire
- Criminal record and vulnerable person check
- Satisfactory driver's abstract
- Valid Sask driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle with sufficient insurance at time of hire
