Description

Reports to Operations & Maintenance Supervisor and Administrator
Carry out all operational tasks of the water utility in accordance with safety standards, codes and procedures.
Ensure that the Dundurn Rural Water Utility is following all regulations from Ministry of Environment.
Assist with daily water sampling and weekly sampling of chlorine, Bacteriological, Turbidity, Trihalomethanes and Halo Acetic Acids; Lagoon monitoring and Wastewater & Piezometer testing
On-call (work irregular hours).
Assist with scheduled reading of water meters.
Maintain the serviceability and appearance of buildings and grounds.
Assist with Inspections of Subscriber connections.
Assist with ordering and installing all manifold assemblies to Subscribers.
Assist with any general maintenance and repairs involved with the pipeline and subscriber connections.
Assist with any general maintenance and checking of pump houses insuring that all operations are within specifications.
Maintain effective communication with staff and Board
Any other duties as specified by Board direction, administrator & Operations Maintenance Supervisor

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

1. Must have high school diploma or GED.
2. Must possess a valid Saskatchewan drivers licence and own vehicle.
3. Must have ability to perform physical labour.
4. Must work with minimal supervision.
