Description

SaskEnergy is seeking a qualified and motivated individual to join our team. The Service Technician I performs a variety of duties associated with the installation, operation and maintenance of gas system facilities, including the delivery of customer services, in accordance with standards, specifications and accepted industry practices. As a potential first responder, this includes implementing sound decisions in emergency situations.

Qualified applicants will possess
Grade 12 or equivalent.
Journeyperson Plumbing Certificate.
Gas fitter's license (general or domestic).
Valid Class 5 driver's license.

Additional Information
Depending on location, standby is routinely scheduled or occasional.
Travel, including overnight stays away from bid headquarters is required.
This job requires significant travel time.
This job requires extended work hours.
This job is safety sensitive, and as such, is subject to the provisions of the Drug and Alcohol Policy (Pre-Employment or Pre-Placement for Safety Sensitive Positions).
The job holder is required to be physically fit.
