Qualifications:
Skill and knowledge usually attained by successful completion of Post-secondary education in Business or Office Administration;
A minimum of 3-5 years experience providing general accounting/bookkeeping and administrative assistant; Knowledge of Sage 300 Accounting Software.
Knowledge and experience of similar program delivery in the context of First Nations culture and history;
Knowledge of land management manual for reserve status lands.
Knowledge of Indian Act Additions to reserve.
Knowledge of Impact Assessment legislation.
Basic knowledge of legislations Federal & Provincial.
Experience working with Framework agreement, and associated federal legislation on First Nation Land Management
Experience in financial reporting, maintaining general ledgers etc.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software.
Working knowledge of GIS software - mapping is an asset.
Possess good understanding of Nakoda Nation cultures and traditions.
