The Director, Brand Marketing and Communications will primarily be responsible for the development and execution of all marketing/branding plans for all key business streams of The Regina Pats including Sponsorships, Merchandise/Pats Store, Game Day, and Ticket revenue streams. The role requires someone who has a passion for the use of all traditional and digital/social media to continually elevate our brand and generate ongoing interest and excitement for The Pats organization and all we do on and off the ice.
The promotion of all activities of the club will be executed through creating, maintaining, and evolving existing and new content in fulfillment of top-quality, high energy experiences and interactions with the brand. The role will require an individual who is available to work a variety of irregular work hours including all game days/nights.
Responsibilities:
Upholding Brand standards and supporting Sales strategies in developing and executing print, digital/social, promotional, merchandising and event marketing plans
Managing, updating, and generating related hockey content for The Pats website, social media, and digital platforms as well as other mediums as deemed a fit
As required, lead, or contribute to the writing of News Releases and Media Advisories, organize, and attend media events and provide support to members of the media.
Prepare and update Player profiles and player & team stories; and compose features and commentary on Club events in the community
Work with Sales and Operations personnel to ensure 100% accuracy of Sponsorship / Customer deliverables as they relate to in-game and online product/service delivery
Manage the creation and development of new and creative in-game and in-arena entertainment
