Water Security Agency is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic and professional individual to add to our Human Resources Unit.
Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, an employee in this job manages labour relations, employee relations, compensation, and human resources policy development activities for the corporation.
As a member of this team, some of your duties will include Planning and coordinating the processes related to contract negotiations, including research and costing proposals, prepare draft collective agreement language, compile collective agreements and letters of understanding and act as chief negotiator for collective bargaining process as well as any in-term negotiations.
This position will be responsible for Management of the Human Resources Consulting staff to ensure services are provided efficiently and effectively and is also responsible to provide advice and information to leadership on the interpretation and application of the collective agreement, workplace legislation, policies, accommodation issues, disciplinary and non-disciplinary actions, as well as performance issues.
The successful candidate must possess a Degree in Human Resources with a major in Labour Relations, a CPHR Designation preferred and 7 years of progressively more responsible directly related experience.
