The Meadow Lake Tribal Council is looking for a local Saskatchewan Contractor who will provide all of the labour, equipment, tools and supplies required to perform large scale agriculture landscaping. This includes the preparation of the site for a fence, greenhouse, community garden and orchard installation of a water source.
Quality Standards and Objectives:
The contractor must perform work with minimal disturbance to the soil and surrounding natural areas and roadways.
Correct defective work as soon as possible after it becomes apparent and reasonable and weather and season permitting.
Perform all operation with consideration to the environment and the preservation of natural habitats.
Any herbicides or fertilizers used must be approved by the Ministikwan Lake Cree Nation (MLCN) and if used must be disposed of according to regulations and bylaws in approved landfill sites. Any chemicals must be disposed of in approved waste sites, while paying perspective fees. Burning of litter or debris is not permitted on site.
Personnel, Supervision & Management:
The Contractor shall supply adequately skilled, reliable motivated personnel. All the personnel handling landscaping duties must have undergone training in the care and maintenance of exterior plants where applicable.
Mandatory Requirements:
You must attend the site visit referred to in Section A4.
You must provide a detailed proposal for the Work, which must include:
o A completed Section F: Pricing Offer Form;
o A completed Section G: Contact Information, Acceptance and References Form (must be duly signed by the Proponent).
