We are currently accepting applications for an Intermediate/Senior Industrial Automation Technician to join our team. This position will require the applicant to design, install, service, maintain, and repair Automated Production/Process Equipment.
The successful candidate will possess a diploma or certificate in;
Journeyman Electrician (preferred) or
Industrial Electronic Technician/Technology or
Electronic Systems Engineering Technology or
Industrial Instrument Mechanic or
Instrumentation Engineering Technology
5 years of relevant experience is preferred. Similar or equivalent qualifications may be considered.
Preference will be give to applicants who also have experience with;
PLC/HMI programming (Allen Bradley preferred)
Feedback and control devices such as RTDs, thermocouples, I2P, encoders, etc.
Robot Programming and Integration (ABB preferred)
Electrical/Electronic troubleshooting
CNC Equipment
Servo/Stepper motor systems
Machine Safeguarding and Safety Devices
Some knowledge of mechanical systems as they pertain to automated machines
Knowledge of pneumatic devices
System layout, design, detailing and documentation
AutoCAD, MS Office

Preparation od Schematics and Electrical and Assembly Drawings

Other Requirements;
Have own basic handtools and Multimeter
CSA Hard-toed Safety boots
Valid Class 5 Drivers License
Excellent workmanship and attention to detail
