Position and Responsibilities
As part of the site operational group, shaft operations you will be responsible for:

    Operating, inspecting, and maintaining the main cage and skip conveyance
    Ability to achieve hoist operator certificate
    Slinging materials to/from underground  
    Operating equipment such as JCB loader and skid steer loader
    Working with a diverse workforce (Cameco employees, contractors, and trades personnel)

Education and Qualifications
Requirements of the position:

    Grade 12 diploma, or equivalent
    Minimum 4 years of underground mining industry experience
    Minimum 3 years mine shaft maintenance experience
    Able to work at heights using fall arrest
    Willing to work in confined spaces
    Excellent communication skills
    Work a rotating day/night shift schedule
    Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft

Preference will be given to Residents of Saskatchewan's North.
