ABOUT US
Doepker Industries is a leading Canadian manufacturer of highway semi-trailers. We are continually developing new and innovative designs for our customers across Canada and have won awards and been recognized for business excellence and innovation since 1948.

We are currently looking for a permanent, full-time Painter to join our team at our Annaheim location. Our shifts rotate bi-weekly from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (Monday to Friday) to 2:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. (Monday to Thursday) and we accommodate shift preferences where possible.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Reporting to the Production Coordinator, the purpose of the Painter is to support the manufacturing flow by providing safe, efficient and quality painting processes to ensure our customers trailers are on schedule for delivery.

Key accountabilities include:
- Prepping and painting Doepker trailers.
- Respect and achieve deadlines
- Critical eyes with strong attention to detail
- Maintain equipment
- Maintain a clean work area
- Follow established procedures (safe operating procedures; quality procedures; work instructions)
- Share your ideas to contribute to process improvements

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Experience painting on a production line    
- Experience using hand tools and paint guns
- Ability to think critically and problem solve
- Experience working with drawings
- Positive attitude
- Ability to collaborate with a team
- Experience with lean methodology is an asset
- Proactively learn new skills
