CFS Saskatoon is seeking a dedicated counsellor/group facilitator to provide counselling and related services to individuals, couples, families, groups, and organizations. Duties encompass counselling, group facilitation, as well as community/professional presentations.
Counselling Responsibilities:
Individual, couple, and family counselling.
Group facilitation, program development and community/professional presentations.
Familiarity with community resources in order to make appropriate referrals.
Continuing professional development
Meeting with the Director of Clinical Services for individual/group supervision.
Completion of statistics and necessary client forms.
Representing CFS Saskatoon on community committees when necessary.
Work in cooperation and collaboration with other Saskatoon Community Service Village Partners
Group Facilitation:
Developing, updating, reviewing, and revising group material as appropriate.
Group facilitation
Community/professional presentations
Qualifications:
A Masters degree in social work, psychology, or other related field. Certification or experience in Play Therapy, EMDR and Somatic Experiencing would be an asset.
Experience working with children, youth and adults.
Group/workshop facilitation is an asset.
