Co-operatives have a long history of serving members in Western Canada. In the early 20th century, people worked together to create retail co-operatives in many towns in the four western Canadian provinces (Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia). The Meadow Lake Co-op was established March 2nd, 1945 with the opening of our first location, located on First Street East. Meadow Lake is a community of just over 6000 people in northwest Saskatchewan, serving a trading area of 35000 people.
Meadow Lake Co-operative Association Limited invites applications for the position of a Bakery Clerk.
The Bakery Clerk is responsible for attending to customers requests in the Bakery department of our grocery store. You will be expected to deliver excellent customer service and drive customer loyalty.
Reporting to the Bakery Manager, the successful candidate will:
Come to work with a positive, professional approach and attitude.
Meet all Meadow Lake Co-op guidelines on hygiene, presentation and customer service in the grocery store.
Be knowledgeable and answer questions about products and their sources.
Participate in maintaining location image and housekeeping standards.
Adhere to Food Safety Procedures.
Maintain and display all types of bakery products according to standards.
Provide positive consumer experience to all customers.
