The Outside Sales Rep works with the dealer network as calls that come in, in order to establish working relationship with them. He/she handles inbound sales queries, making sales, or establishing rentals agreements.
3 to 5 years of outside sales experiences, preferably with selling construction equipment
Expand on existing customer base through cold calls and scheduled calls to customer sites and offices
Meet with customers to address concerns and provide solutions
Implement strategies for growth of sales and rental business
Complete daily/weekly call reports
Participate in industry or promotional events (i.e., trade shows) to create customer relations
Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to Health and Safety
Proficient in PC/Internet technologies.
Account management and new business development experience with revenue responsibility.
Strong negotiation and closing skills.
Exceptional communication, presentation and teaming skills.
Ability and commitment to learn a vast product offering.
