Reporting to the Food Store Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:
-Demonstrate day-to-day behaviours and actions that align with and strengthen our Co-operatives vision, mission, values, brand and focus on safety
-Deliver a legendary guest experience while demonstrating a positive, professional approach & attitude
-Maintain a safe and efficient work area while adhering to company policies, procedures and standards including selling of age restricted items
-Order, receive, price and control inventory for the liquor commodity, as assigned
-Perform cashing duties, serve guests, stock shelves, face shelves, perform general housekeeping and other duties as assigned
Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Customer Service and:
-You have grade 12 or equivalent experience; customer service experience is required
-You demonstrate a positive attitude, strong communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to live the Co-op Brand
-You are well organized and can work with minimum supervision, and are reliable and punctual
-You are capable fulfilling physical job requirements including extensive manual labour including standing, walking, pushing, pulling, crouching and lifting 10 25 lbs constantly and 25 75 lbs occasionally
-You are flexible to work opening and closing shifts, evenings and holidays and a weekend rotation
-You must be willing to obtain the Serve It Right Program certification
