The YMCA Child Development Centre-Martensville location - is seeking a professional, mature, energetic, responsible, and committed person to join our team in a full time Educator/Cook position. Our Martensville location provides care for children age 6 weeks to 6 years old. Successful candidates will enjoy a membership to the YMCA Fit Centre including all registered classes, as well as a comprehensive benefits package after 3 month probationary period.
CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO FACILITATE ENGLISH LANGUAGE DEVELOPMENT.
Some duties include (but not limited to):
- Planning developmentally appropriate and
stimulating activities in a play-based environment
- Participating in physical activities
- Encouraging child-led activities through
carefully chosen equipment and toys
- Teaching children the values of caring,
honesty, respect, responsibility, and
inclusiveness towards all living things
- Cleaning, organizing, and sanitizing
Requirements:
- ECE Level I-II, or other
relevant education.
- Related experience is an asset
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Current clear Criminal Record Check in the
vulnerable sector/Clear Child Welfare/Child Abuse check
