With our main office based out of Watson, Saskatchewan, Frederick Farms Ltd are currently seeking an Agronomist to join our team.  Frederick Farms Ltd. Is a large scale modern grain Farm.

This job position is a full-time position.

The individual best suited for this position must:
    have a passion for Agriculture
    have previous experience in farming operations
    be able to work in a group and communicate very well
    be able to work longer hours  especially during the busy season
    be able to work under pressure
    have a keen eye to detail
    be organized, punctual and professional

Job duties will include:
    Field scouting and spraying operations, agronomic troubleshooting, crop rotation planning, fertility and crop protection recommendation
    Provide agronomic information and advice on seed, pest identification, crop protection and crop nutrients / fertilizers
    Maintain knowledge of current industry best practices and trends
    Soil testing / sampling  Interpret soil and tissue tests
    Manage grain trails
    Gather, compile, analyze and interpret test results
    Prepare progress reports
    Maintaining crop production records and assisting the team
    Yield capturing and analysis
    Administrative duties regarding responsibilities (keep up to date)
    Interact and report to Management
    All other duties that relates to Agronomy that may be required by employer
    Knowledge in map building/layering for variable rate purposes will be an asset

Compensation will be dependent on experience and will include a variety of components
