The Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation, located in Moose Jaw, is looking for a creative, energetic individual to lead and develop our organizations communication initiatives as our Director of Communications & Marketing.
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director of Communications & Marketing is responsible for the development, delivery, and evaluation of all communication initiatives (internal and external), digital and traditional media planning, and public relations.
This role is responsible for the development of communication strategy and will contribute to the organizational strategic planning process. The successful candidate will have the ability to manage website and social media, digital assets, email administration, and offer staff technical support.
This position also supports the creation of print magazine content to be delivered through the Outdoor Canada West magazine to our 32,000 members.
The ideal candidate will hold a degree in communications, public relations, or related field, plus 3 years of progressive experience in a related position. Experience in web and email development, graphic design, and public speaking would be an asset. Experience in the conservation or outdoor industry is desired, but not mandatory.
