Nature of Business
Farm World started in 1984 in Kinistino Saskatchewan, Canada. Farm World is a leading farm equipment dealership, which supplies farm equipment to the local area as well as an international business. Our main product line is New Holland, but we also carry many quality short line products to provide the best possible equipment to the producers in our trading area. We have built a high level of customer trust and we provide superior service for all of their equipment needs.
The main office is located in Kinistino, with stores in Humboldt and Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Farm World acquired the New Holland store in Humboldt in 2002 and the Prince Albert New Holland store in 2004. Since 2004, it has been operated in three locations and continues like that today. Farm World ownership changed in 2007 when an 'employee buyout' transpired. Craig Cumming, Trevor Rumpel, Tex Prete, and Jeff Saufert purchased the three operations.
The Kinistino facility was rebuilt in 2009-10 following a fire that totally destroyed the facility. Currently, we are in the early stages of having new facilities built in Prince Albert and Humboldt, both of which will be opened in Spring 2013. All three facilities incorporate the latest in technology and shop equipment to meet the demands of the Agriculture industry.
As an organization, we employee 95 people and are hiring more people as the company grows.
