The Maintenance Associate reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor and is responsible for performing tasks involving physical labour and attention to detail. The Maintenance Associate role is responsible for the efficient facility maintenance according to established procedures, protocols, and workplace policies.

Roles and Responsibilities
Minor electrical installation or repair such as light switches, electrical outlets, and light fixtures
Minor plumbing installation or repair such as faucets, toilets, piping, and service of various plumbing components
Minor repairs and adjustments to heating, cooling, ventilating and HVAC systems
Floor and wall painting repairs and silicon caulking touch ups to any gaps
Various hands-on tasks including carpentry, drywall, taping, mudding, and painting.
Familiarity with and safe use of power tools and other equipment
Cleaning and maintenance of exterior grounds, buildings, sidewalks, including snow clearing.
Identify and report the need for major repairs
Assess priorities with attention to detail
Other duties as assigned
