Description

Reporting to the Director Business Process, this position will be responsible for providing three areas of service: Business Analysis, Process Improvement and Continuous Improvement.

Business Analysis includes involvement in all stages of the project lifecycle, eliciting and managing business and stakeholder requirements, solution scope definition, process mapping of current and future states as well as supporting the procurement of technical systems, platforms, and software.

Process Improvement focuses on using Continuous Improvement approaches to investigate, document, assess, and facilitate business process improvements that result in simplified, streamlined, and standardized workflow and business processes across the organization. This position will work directly with unit level management, staff, and faculty to produce deliverables including case for change, current state understanding and measurement, future state vision, process standardization and enhancement work assessment, options and plans for restructuring, and business process redesigns.  The processes will involve multiple stakeholder departments and impact staff, faculty and students.

This position will empower Sask Polytechs management, staff, and faculty to deliver their own continuous improvement initiatives by developing, curating, and promoting continuous improvement resources and offering skill development workshops.
