Description

PART-TIME caregiver required for young woman (31) with complex physical disability, who lives in family home (not a care facility).  Must have some experience in doing personal care duties and use of ceiling transfer lift and sling. TLR training is preferred. Must be a good companion! Duties to include transfers with ceiling lift (wheelchair to bed, etc), bathing, physio, dressing, some meals and other duties. Current shifts available are MONDAY 7PM - 9PM and FRIDAY 5PM - 9PM.  Home is close to the University. Must have reliable transportation. There is a possibility for other shifts depending on other staffing. Applicant must be responsible, dependable and live in Regina.
Preference given to individuals with post secondary in related field (Kin, Social Work, Pysch, Nursing).
